Magical Wedding Day!

Everyone at Laurel Ridge Country Club was amazing and our wedding day was so magical!
From the bridal suite, golf cart rides to picture places, amazing mountain views, to amazing food, and the beautiful indoor reception space, everything was above and beyond!
Holly and Ariel were so easy to work with and so kind. Can’t say enough good about this venue! The staff was also so friendly and did just about everything for us. They set up and take down the ceremony chairs and dining sets, serve, and they even set up a room for my husband and I to enjoy our first meal together. It made it so fun and romantic!

Five Star Destination Wedding

My husband and I recently got married here. We are from Florida and Holly made the wedding planning experience so easy! I was so worried with how everything would come together and it truly came out amazing! The staff is so wonderful and personable.
We had our ceremony at the Arbor and reception in the Grand Lodge. The food was so delicious! We chose the chicken marsala with mashed potatoes and the parmesan crusted salmon. Everyone complimented the food and how amazing the venue was.
It’s been almost a month since we got married at Laurel Ridge and we are still on cloud nine with how perfectly the day went. Our guests continue to talk about our wedding to this day! We already miss Holly and the amazing staff and plan on making a trip back up soon to see everyone!

Wonderful Wedding Reception

My husband Tim, and I had absolutely wonderful wedding reception at the Laurel Ridge Country Club. Holly Smith, the Director of Catering and Events, helped us through the entire planning process. From catering menus to linen discussions, Holly always had a smile and a willingness to help make our day as special as possible. She and her assistant, Ariel, were kind, thoughtful, and professional each time we spoke or met with them. Our great experience at the Laurel Ridge Country Club is greatly due to Holly’s facilitating and friendly professionalism. Ariel, whom we met towards the end of our planning, was warm and pleasant as well. Ariel helped ensure I had everything I needed in the bridal suite the day of my wedding, and my friends and family enjoyed the food and champagne we ordered.
Venue: Tim and I loved the venue the moment we entered it. The stately large windows exhibited rolling green golf-course hills, and trees that were both calming and beautiful. The venue presented both a classy and rustic decor, with a large fireplace on one end of the main hall, and an exit to a patio area on the other. Although my husband and I chose the indoor venue, the outdoor venue contained a covered area with a large fireplace with nearby lighted trees at dusk. Our guests were welcome to this area as well.
Food: Our tasting was a fun culinary experience, and Holly met with us to discuss our favorite options. We chose the parmesan crusted salmon and the sirloin steak, which our guests loved. Since there were two children present at the reception, the chefs made kid-friendly meals such as grilled cheese or chicken tenders with fries.
Going the Extra Mile: We had our cake delivered for all the guests, but Tim and I needed a last minute frosting for our own gluten-free cake due to unexpected changes. Sarah, a staff member, helped frost a photo-worthy cake that was prettier than I imagined. Holly and Ariel also helped with a smile and a positive attitude throughout the reception evening.
LRCC Inn: The Country Club has four associated rooms across from the main courtyard. Mandy was an excellent communicator and ensured that we had everything that we needed from a borrowed iron and ironing board to a cooler. Each inn room opened up to a connected outside porch with rocking chairs and a view of the country club. Guests will enjoy the closeness to the LRCC entrance and the relaxing atmosphere of the inn. The rooms were clean and inviting.
Overall, the Laurel Ridge Country Club has our highest recommendation for a wedding venue as well as Holly Smith, the Events Coordinator. We look forward to visiting during our one-year anniversary! ~ Jennifer, 9/23/23
